WOODEN DECKING, ASHLEY DOWN
The client was looking for a way to increase the existing planting and create a garden that met the needs of the whole family. With a combination of treated softwood decking and sleeper raised beds for planting, we were able to create just that. On a practical level, the use of raised beds to bring planting up to waist height creates a natural barrier to the decking edge. In design terms, it gives the sense of being surrounded by nature in an otherwise urban environment.
FULL GARDEN REDESIGN, BISHOPSTON
This garden brief was for a full re-designing of a large rear garden and front driveway. The focus was on increasing existing planting to bring more wildlife into the garden. The design had to incorporate a large trampoline and play space that could evolve over time as well as an area for dining and socialising.
CONSERVATORY AND PAVING, WHITCHURCH
This client wanted to extend usable space within the house, and feel more connected to the garden. To achieve this 50 tons of clay was removed from the garden before construction could begin on a beautiful timber frame extension. The cedar cladding will weather to an understated silvery grey and herb filled built in raised beds soften the hard landscaping.
COMPOSITE DECKING, SOUTHVILLE
This garden was created to provide somewhere peaceful to sit after work in the summer, a social space for teenagers, and to feel like an extension of the house in warm weather. The client was keen to use composite decking because of the longevity it offers and the range of colours it is available in. This garden receives limited sun so double-level seating was situated in places to maximise the light. Pockets of planting were created alongside the blocks of seating so that there is a sense of being surrounded by plants despite the amount of decking in the garden.

RECLAIMED SCAFFOLDING BOARDS DECKING
This client wanted an entertainment area using reclaimed decking. With modern slatted fencing and broad, generous steps, we were able to create a sense of grandeur, while keeping the charm of the material choice.
GARDEN REDESIGN, SOUTHVILLE
The brief here was to get rid of an uninspiring concrete space with an uneven surface and limited planting. We transformed the look and feel by creating as much opportunity for planting as possible and resurfacing with a stylish dark slate. The hard landscaping made the carefully selected planting really stand out giving the space a modern and relaxed feel. The planting has established to beautifully fill the beds, attracting pollinators and creating screening through the use of climbers and added trellis.
